Breaking: Samsung Will Use Ultra-Thin Glass Like Human Hair In Its Next Foldable Phone

Samsung Will Use Ultra-Thin Glass In Its Next Foldable Phone

The plastic cover of Galaxy Fold is very soft and can cause scratches. According to ET News reports, Samsung is considering replacing this plastic layer with Ultra Thin Glass or UTG in its next foldable phone. This phone will be released early next year. UTG is a very fine glass. It is 0.1 mm thick, which is as thin as human hair.

UTG is difficult to make, which is why its production is low and the cost is very high. But in view it is much better than the plastic cover used by Samsung.
Reportedly, Samsung's next phone could be folded like a sip instead of folded like a book. It will not cost as much as the 1980 Galaxy Fold, but it will be much less than the $ 1500. The screen size of this phone will also be 6.7 instead of 7.3.
Samsung will roll out the next foldable phone in the first quarter of next year. Samsung may again use plastic covers in the absence of UTG.
