TikTok started an educational program in India called EduTok

The popular short video making application TiKTok has also entered the e-learning market in India with its hashtag EduTok. The company is focusing on health and education videos in partnership with educational institutions.
The company claims that the creators have created over 10 million videos under the hashtag EDUTOK, which has seen 48 billion views in total.
However, according to the company's website, the hashtag's videos have been viewed 46 billion times. TikTok is showing Life Tips, Job Tips and Education related videos in EduTok.
In September, TikTok partnered with several educational companies such as Vedantu, Vidya Guru, Hello English and CETKing to create videos. Now, the company says it has also partnered with Toppr, MedEzay and GradeUp.

EduTok has come to compete with YouTube. Last July, YouTube launched the Learning for Learning video program. Google introduced the playlist feature for educational videos in April, with no video algorithm recommended for this playlist. Unlike YouTube, TikTok can offer better educational content in the form of short videos. India has 200 million subscribers, so the company does not want to be limited to entertainment services. EduTok's release is a sequel to this series.
