SeaGate is releasing its first PCI-e 4.0 SSDs

SeaGate is releasing its first PCI-E 4.0 SSDs. This is Fire Cuda 520 (FireCuda 520). These SSDs are available in 500 GB, 1 TB and 2 TB capacity. These SSDs use TLC and memory, which consists of 96 layers. It comes with a Phison PS5016-E16 controller available.


The controller for the Fire Coda 520 SSDs is similar to the PCI-E 4.0 control built by other companies. In order to fully take advantage of this gate for CGate, it is important to use them with the AMD X570 motherboard. Currently it is the only platform that supports PCI-E 4.0.
The 500 GB, 1 TB and 2 TB models of this new SSD from SeaGate can be priced up to 160 euros, 320 euros and 520 euros respectively.
